ABOUT US



Since 96s, Pham Cao Dong quietly germinated the passion of a young man between limited space of a traditional printing shop. As CaoDong Design became a brand name which could equivalently compete against other bigger trade names, Pham Cao Dong did recognize that his passion in leather stuffs and gifts was big enough to establish CD Paragon Leather in 2003 which promptly inspired and appealed to others. CD Paragon Leather presented in apartments in busy commercial centers, became a fine parts of spirit values and high and mighty supplier of worldwide big hotels.


As the passion in beauty continued its journey of crossing various ordinary limits and reaching sharable demand, in 2007, CaoDong Design became the representative of famous Furniture brand names such as PASAYA, CHRISTOPHER GUY, SERIP, HERITAGE, TONON, FENDI CASA, CARACOLE, MUSE DESIGN at the same time when the brand name of LUXE LIVING was establish and developed with products manufactured in Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia.


The light pervades the beauty of warmth.


Materials and colors imbrue with the riches of emotions.


“FURNITURE TALK”


Each chair got its own story before becoming the story of its owner.


“Chair” is the word with origin of “cathedra” in Latin language which named after and inspired by the-tool-for-seating-on of a Diocesan. In Roman, bed was an all-purpose furniture item not only for sleeping but also for having meals, reading, writing and social communicating. The chair was reproduced based on the gold throne or Diocesan’s seating-tool which by nature was used for honored noblemen or headed to God: making a vertical rest position with a back-support. As the Dark Ages covered the whole world, chair was adapted from trunk – familiar item of noble families as they moved from this palace to the other during the age of scuffle. In the Renaissance of individualism when Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo and Brunelleschi, etc. were in glory, chairs called Savonarola and Cassapanca coaches were well-known and strongly broke into living life. The first chair started its origin with slighter structure which is movable and disassemble. The concept of “fully furnish” entered society in order to satisfy the demand of archive and showing-off of the rich.


“BRAND TALK”


Existing within the faint boundaries between history and present, reality and delusion, man-made souls and man-absorbed ones, designer community told various stories about beauty of the life the felt, strangely and enchantingly…


FENDI CASA


Since 1989, Fendi Casa designed famous furniture products. He presented a brand new lifestyle which pervaded all around the world and implied that tradition was not simply memory and creativeness could be strong inspiration without limit. Fendi brought the most perfect praise to unique, difference and experience on an unprecedented life. Fendi possessed juice of luxury which was presented in every tiny details, most unique materials and accessories, un-common rules, talented artisans of each of un-refusable products.


Designs could be “immortal” because Fendi’s designers were designers-of-future. Their designs tell unprecedented stories with un-felt emotions before.


The breath brought by Fendi was of a life full of inquiries, aspirations and desires. It was the breath of 5-star Principal Di Savoia hotel, Milan or Damac Residences noble area in Dubai bay, Trump Soho hotel in New York or Acqualina Residence in capital city Miami.


CARACOLE


Each design was a representative of separate individual with independently thinking. With more than 75 modes made from strange woods, random combinations and harmony by talented craft hands, each design became outstanding and got its own soul. A charming cabinet may say: “I am a dressing table in bedroom” in your house as well as send word that: “I am a china cabinet in dining room” in your neighbor’s house. Both are wonderful. Just throw all rules out the window; let’s give favor to subconsciousness and un-conditional reflexes. And on top of those, let’s enjoy the joy of animated melody of Caracole.


A “Bubbles Up” design may be faintly charming as bubble, “The Cat’s Meow” may be obedient and soft as cute kitty, “Cookie Box” may be soaked with cookie flavor, “The Glass Slipper” may artful and magnificent as Christian Loubutin shoes and “Straight Up with a Twist” may bring to you a little bit of pleasant feeling of a Martini glass in the twilight, and “Pearl” design may be pure as natural pearl.


Caracole’s designers never stopped looking for freshly inspiration from this life and reproducing it as another inspiration even fresher and more charming. If Caracole was called as fashion of future, then it always reminded a little bit of odor of old wardrobe. Caracole expressed a strangely aspect where the past was hesitant and the present was joyful, and right after one second, everything was just forgot in an un-named pure feeling. Cabinet handles were charming as caress jewelries, drawers were full of Damask flower-printed silk and embellished by net details. With surprised and provoking but shy still, Caracole urged contemplation with a little bit of not-having-the-heart-to-possess.


CHRISTOPHER GUY


Christopher Guy deemed to exist in a deluding world of historical monuments and dreams. The chair was inspired by the story named “Alice in wonderland” and became the dream which was hearty chased. By the inspiration of beautiful Scarlet O’Hara image from “Gone with the wind”, Chris-X (Cris-Cross) chair was born with well-groomed waist-tied design and curves like a slender woman with broad shoulders and slim waist. Chirs-X promptly became a fashion icon of classic beauty under modern eye.


With the original idea of breaking the concept of “Mirror” out of “4 wood pieces of wood”, Christopher Harrison did create a miraculous collection with over 300 mirror designs where each mirror may look itself in the other ones and felt abashed and forgot its inherent form. Christopher Guy was a story of miracle with an opening end and high-tide developments enough to cross every boundary of various cultures and arts.


Christopher Guy’s designs combined classic and modern ideas by suing an un-limited color board of imagination. Diversification and open-handing in designing were presented in luxurious gold plated and carved designs which were long standing and modern high and mighty curves. Each design was a thrilling combination of elegance and exquisiteness, illusiveness and appearance, flexibility and eloquentness. Each art became unstoppable imagination and passion of designers and perceiver.


Chirstopher Guy became “the empire” of masterpieces just like that, and that empire did conquer various of “territories” such as Trump Plaza in New York, Savoy hotel in London, Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas and Macau, Ritz Carlton hotel in Tokyo, Christopher Guy – classic value in modern breath.


There were also other honorable brand names such as Tonon, Heritage, Muse Design, Serip, Pasaya. They were art pieces which never stopped sing for this beautiful life.

CREATE DISTINCTIVE CULTURE


Being urged by instinct and sensitive souls’ mission, writers, poets, musicians and chartered art perceivers could not stop creating beauties because this life always needed. Human needed beauty because the realized that beauty contained good things, and by being close with good things, they tended to become so. Beauty may orient our souls.


Beauty once was the perfectness of rate, geometry, balance and harmony, but nowadays, the concept of beauty means bringing unconditionally satisfaction of senses, inviting for discovery, experience, and strongly desire of possessing. CAODONG DESIGN always wanted to work with talented designers, artisans in order to bring beauty to the house of life and make it enthusiasm and satisfied. That is the highest expression of beauty.


This urged CAODONG DESIGN to form CDC HOME DESIGN CENTER – meeting point of beauty, people who look for beauty and people who create beauty. That is where ideal form of objective beauty and subjective aesthetic desire. We believe that the best design is the catching of owner’s soul and essence of space. As simply as: “As designing a living room, let’s start from the best seat.”


Through commercial relationship with famous brand names in Europe and Asia, CaoDong presents full inspiration of diversified lifestyles and creative philosophies made by international prestige designer in order to create a strong commercial attachment for Vietnamese furniture and decoration industry keeping pace with international trends. CAODONG DESIGN is promoting its second system in the most luxurious building in Hanoi named Lotte Center, which shall be opened on September 01st, 2014 with total area more than 500m2.


CAODONG DESIGN also prepares for presence of CDC HOME DESIGN CENTER in HCMC since the beginning of 2015, located in RIVIERA POINT, Phu My Hung center, district 7 with total area of 1,000m2 along with showhouse chains named CHIRSTOPHER GUY Penthouse Gallery.


Creativeness is breath, and CDS makes business on “Difference”. CDC Home Centre- Creative Distinctive Cultural. In the field of furniture, details are not only details, all of them shall create a particular and miraculous design. We believe that each individual is unique, each design is individual itself, each house has its own personality; the tiny shall create huge difference. Then, each house shall become “haute couture home” for you only and “No other places like your home”. This is also the breath of CDC Home Center.
